In game against the New England Patriots, Dak Prescott racked up more passing yards than any quarterback has ever racked up in the 21-year Bill Belichick era

MUNCH – What a game it was for Dak Prescott against the New England Patriots.

The Dallas Cowboys quarterback racked up 445 yards passing in a 35-29 win over the Pats.

Never in Bill Belichick’s 21 years as head coach in New England has he allowed more passing yards than he did last night. It was the fourth loss in the fourth home game this season for the six-time Super Bowl champion, the weakest since 1993.

Prescott with MVP performance

Total Dallas won 567 yards of space on offense in overtime. It’s also a record against New England this millennium. The record previously belonged to the Philadelphia Eagles, who gained 538 yards in Super Bowl LII. Prescott made the crucial play to set the record for passing the ball, throwing a 35-yard touchdown pass to C.D. Lamb in overtime with just under four minutes left on the clock.
Prescott surpassed Peyton Manning’s record against Belichick’s Pats in 2014, when the Sheriff threw for 438 yards in a 21-43 victory over New England. Overall, it was only the eighth time against the Patriots in the Belichick era when the quarterback managed to rack up more than 400 yards passing.
